Baby Danielle's Blessing
Our Trip to Utah
I know I haven't posted in a really long time. Nothing that interesting has happened since Easter. But... Geoff and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary on June 3rd. (the 3rd anniversary on the 3rd!) For a present to us, we finally purchased a digital camera! Plus we were recently in Utah visiting my brother and his wife who have a 2 month old baby girl who was being blessed. They live in American Fork but we stayed in Provo and visited Salt Lake

From the roof you can see the Salt Lake Temple and there's a pretty fountain and beautiful flowers that resembles a mountainside

Cody did really well in the car. It was a good 11 hour drive. We rented a car and one of us would sit in the back with him and entertain and feed him. We stopped a couple times obviously for bathroom/diaper change breaks and food.
Our first stop was the Conference Center. We took a tour and saw the amazing artwork and auditorium- hardly anyone was there.

Our next stop was the Church History Museum. We saw the pocketwatch of John Taylor when he was in Carthage jail. This watch saved his life by stopping a bullet. There is also the death masks of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. There was a neat exhibit of how the Tabernacle was built, an exhibit for kids, so much beautiful artwork and an angel Moroni
We next went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. At the top, there's another beautiful view of the Salt Lake Temple
