Today I had the day off, so me, Cody, Gavin, Sue, Jenny and Liz all went to the Phoenix Zoo

There was a fun kids' playground at the zoo. Cody could go up and down it all day!

Halloween 2010

Halloween was so fun this year. Cody was dressed as a dinosaur. We went to Trunk or Treat with a Geoff's old church ward. We've been going there the past couple years. Cody had a great time. We were there with our friends Keith, Nicky and their son Gavin along with our babysitter Jennifer and her sister Liz. Cody was so cute in his fat dinosaur costume. He liked wearing it and he didn't mind the cute hat.

We missed Sunday morning General Conference because....

So this morning around 4:30 am I heard a sound like it's raining outside, only it sounded like it was raining inside! A pipe burst under our bathroom cabinet. I scrambled to get everything out from underneath and to get towels down because water was everywhere. Water was even leaking to the downstairs, so we moved everything away from our living room area. So we were without internet connection because we had to move out our computer stuff too. We called a plumber. They couldn't do anything when they got here because our water system is on a circut with others in our complex, our main water valve to our house was broken. So the water couldn't get turned off. We called the HOA. They sent a plumber who was able to take care of everything. He even called some drywall restoration people who came and started tearing up the wall, pealing off paint and cutting squares in the wall so they could get blowers inside to dry everything out. so now for the next 3 days we'll have what looks like a huge spider in our living room area. Now we are back on with our internet connection! How about this latest update from the Akers...What a way to start out the week!!

We finally got another digital camera. Our other camera is completely lost. No clue where it is!

Cody has loved to play with Play Doh lately, so Cody and Geoff started playing with it one afternoon. They were so cute playing together I had to snap a photo. Plus Cody really likes to look at pictures on the cell phone, so that's what we're doing

On Saturday we went to a company picnic for Cigna (my job, and the date is wrong on the pictures for saturday) Anyway we went to this fun Railroad Park in Scottsdale. The weather was great-not too hot and we wore SPF 50 sunblock! We had good food, fun company and rode the train. Cody was clutching on to my arm with a firm grip when we first started. We had so much fun!

With all the running around he got to do-Cody completely wore himself out.
