Yesterday our family had a professional photo shoot done by an area by Tempe Town Lakes. It was so fun. Here are some pictures I just got from my non-professional digital camera. The pro ones will be up as soon as we get them, so more pics to come!

Cody's Haircut

Time for another Cody first--a haricut. I've cut around his ears before but that was as much as I've done to my baby's hair. Cody's hair was getting long in the back and I didn't want him to have the classic mom's-bad-home-made-hair-cut-look. So we took him to Super Cuts as recommended by our awesome babysitter Jennifer and her sister Liz. They did a good job and I even got my hair cut too. Geoff got to be the one to hold him down. Let's just say the pictures tell you how Cody really felt about staying still for a haircut.

Cody's Birthday Party was so much fun. There was cake and presents and family. We can't believe he's a year already.

Cody was playing with Geoff's tie and it landed on his shoulder and he's looking at Geoff's scripture case. I guess it's never too early to prepare for a mission

Cody has learned how to go up the stairs all by himself. He's really good at it. He has actually made it very close to the top without me knowing and he didn't fall (thank goodness)

He's able to stand up with assistance now. He's crawling faster too. He loves to get into things and explore. Baby gates have gone up (because he can crawl up the stairs without us knowing) and the plastic plugs have been placed in the outlets. Our next babyproofing project is to get the cabinet door locks installed

This video is so cute. There's a store called Once Upon A Child with used baby stuff. I was there one day on my lunch break-because it's right by my work- and I saw this leapfrog table. I decided not to get it at the time because we're trying to watch our spending. So I talked to Geoff about it and he said we should get it. So I went back after work and luckily it was still there! He has so much fun with it
